Who do you think is a "world changer" who *is* the change they want to see in the world? Nominate your individual or group here by editing this page. Your nominations can be living or historical people.
About Editing: If someone else is already editing the page, you will be notified that "Someone else is editing this page." at the top of your page when you try to edit it. The page is "locked." Here's what is happening and what to do:
Edit Lock
1. The edit lock is a feature to prevent two people from editing the same wiki page at the same time. If you are editing a page, no one else will be able to unless one of these things happens:
- You save the page.
- You hit cancel and don't save your changes.
- You make no changes on the page for five minutes or more.
If you leave the page alone for more than 5 minutes, another user can "steal" editing privileges from you. This cancels your changes and they can make their own changes. So make sure you are frequently *saving* your page.
2. If you want to edit a page that is locked because someone is editing it, but has not saved for five minutes, WAIT for five minutes and then click the "steal the lock" button. If you are working in class, check your peers work first, and remind them to save the page so you can edit or to continue working. So, steal a lock ONLY if you have a) waited five minutes and b) checked your peer's work stations to remind them to save and request the edit lock.
