Page history last edited by Ms. Edwards 15 years, 7 months ago

1. Create a Fortunately/Unfortunately Wacky Vacation story at the beginning of the year of places/events created and chosen by teams of students.

a. Read the Text: Fortunately (Paperback) by Remy Charlip  -- A story about a boy who gets invited to a surprise party but follows fortunate and unfortunate twists and turns to get there.

b. Show the steps:

  1. Log in to Google Account
  2. Click Maps on upper left above google logo)
  3. Click My Maps (under google logo)
  4. Choose: Create New Map
  5. Enter Title (team name and WV)
  6. Enter Description (first line of your story)
  7. Search for starting point in search area. Add to your map by chosing "'Save to My Maps" and save to your title.
  8. Insert links/pictures for each part of the story as you:

Follow the pattern of the story, alternating "Fortunately" with "Unfortunately".

Use strong verbs and nifty nouns.

Be sure to follow a logical, but humorous link to the next part of the story.

Continue to a logical end and solution to your story.
