Round 1 Tags and Saves

Task:

Know what View Mode is.

Know what Edit Mode is.

Know and use Tags.

Know how to Save.

Steps:

Look at these two images:

Look for the View and Edit button on your page. View is how you view the page. Click the edit button; it will move to the front and turn white.  You can only make changes in edit mode.

In edit mode, at the bottom right of the page, look for this:

Click Edit tags.  Tags are key words that allow your to find your page and similar pages using the search box. 

Add your team's name to the tag.  Leave any other tags as is.  On all your team pages, do the same -- edit tag--add team name.

Find this button at the lower left of the page.  This is how to save your page. If you don't click save here, you will lose your work. Do NOT go to File-->Save.  ALWAYS go to the SAVE BUTTON!

HINTs for later work this year:

1. As soon as you create a page, type a title and click save.  Then go back to Edit Mode.  That starts PBWorks Auto-save.
2. Use your code name as a key word on your pages. Include a key word from your assignment/topic.

Save now. This is the end of Round 1.
