Directions:

 

Create a new page from the "Respond to Quote Template"  Make sure you name it as directed in class (class code topic).  For instance, a seventh grade student whose code name is bojo would name the page "W7 Bojo Respond to Quote"

 

Once you have your own page,  start to complete the assignment.  If you have a question, write it in your text in colored text -- then email me.

   

 



Responding to a Quote Guidelines: (Blue Write Source, pages 274-276) Homework

 

Assignment:  Write a response to a quote.  Your response should have three paragraphs:

Paragraph 1: Grab the reader's attention with a question or fact.   Write the quote.  Write what the quote means in your own words.

Paragraph 2: Give an example of what the quote means to you by explaining an experience you have had.

Paragraph 3: Tell how your experience connects to the quote.  End with another restatement of the quote.
