US Senators
The United States Senate is composed of two senators per state, each of which are granted a six year term. Requirements for senators are that they be over the age of 30, are inhabitants of the state they are chosen and have been US residents for at least nine years. The United States House of Representatives is composed of 435 members, each of whom serves for a two-year term. Every state receives representation proportional to its population and is entitled to at least one representative.
