When you find your first link:
Log in with the password your teacher provides using your team's user name ().
Steps:
1. Go to Mapskip Memphis Link
2. Sign in to Diigo (whatelse username and password)
3. Highlight and write notes using Diigo. Be sure to highlight the title and author.
- Write the detail you liked
- Add a connection to your life
- Ask a question you still have
4. Comment on Mapskip story:
- Copy your information, and paste into comment section. Add thank you and your code name. Check spelling and punctuation. Save comment.
5. Bookmark your information using the Diigo menu
- Click add the bookmark under Diigo menu
- Add tags (place and Memphis)
- Choose group "writing5"
- Add your code name to the group description box.
- Click Save
6. Repeat with another article - the next one for your team in the least.
When we are finished, we will learn to use these highlights and notes to choose our favorite places. Students will write an itinerary for your recommended choices based on your notes and annotations on the work of our friends.
